The range on the $SPX was a more sublime 19 points today (Friday), certainly the smallest of the week. We needed a respite here from all the volatility and while the VIX is elevated some I suspect a drop in vol is in the near future. We did not place any trades this week, preferring to just sit tight and watch the action from the sidelines. I am seeing some prospects however, but need a good rest this weekend before attacking the trade Monday.
