ATHENS, June 1 (Reuters) - Greek central bank Governor George Provopoulos dismissed on Wednesday scenarios that the nation could leave the euro and return to the drachma as ridiculous.
Provopoulos was unveiling a report analysing the impact of climate change on Greece's economy in the next 90 years.
This report "is a clear answer to various improbable and ridiculous scenarios making the rounds recently. I remind you that all the calculations on the cost-benefit analysis contained in the report are in euros," he told a conference.
Provopoulos is also a European Central Bank Governing Council member. (Reporting by George Georgiopoulos; editing by David Stamp)
