Retail inflation rose a little more than expected, including food and energy prices.
The consumer price index (CPI) fell 0.2% in June, compared with analysts' expectations for a drop of 0.1%. The core CPI, which excludes food and energy prices, rose 0.3%, higher than the 0.2% predicted.
