The head of ($MSFT) Microsoft Corp.'s Xbox 360 videogame business in Japan said Friday that its motion-control Kinect device hasn't sold as many units as expected in Japan so far and is "still not widely recognized."
But Takashi Sensui said he expects Microsoft's upcoming new Windows operating system, which supports Xbox Live online gaming, will boost the Xbox brand in Japan and will help lift sales of the game console as well as the motion-control accessory.
