London Stock Exchange Group PLC  said Friday that it is in talks with clearing house LCH.Clearnet over a possible deal. The U.K. exchange operator said in a brief statement that talks are at an early stage and there can be no guarantee that they will lead to any agreement. The statement came after the Financial Times newspaper reported that the LSE had made a bid for a majority stake in LCH.Clearnet with an offer that valued the company at about 1 billion euros ($1.43 billion).
