($MACRO) Cyprus Considers Asking ECB to Buy Cypriot Bonds, Minister Says

Cyprus is considering asking the European Central Bank to buy Cypriot bonds in an attempt to curb rising borrowing costs in recent months, Cypriot Finance Minister Kikis Kazamias said.     This was discussed “in the context of the regular contacts between the ministry of finance and the central bank of Cyprus at the highest level,” Kazamias told reporters in Nicosia today. -Bloomberg
